Salary: £45,177 dependent on experience

Role Description
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a subject matter expert supervising and line managing a team of multi-skilled maintenance staff carrying out maintenance activities on our Washington site. You’ll lead a team delivering high quality maintenance activities, ensuring workmanship, safety and reporting standards are consistently met.
Core Duties
Overseeing the procurement of parts and materials, contribute to daily production meetings and create or review maintenance instructions and risk assessments. This role includes full people management responsibilities supporting your team to perform at their best
Managing teams to carry out maintenance activities, checking standards of maintenance and reactive work while coaching team members as required to deliver high levels of craftsmanship and job reporting
Coordinating the department workload via SAP to ensure KPIs are achieved
Managing failure data on equipment and generating breakdown reports
Procure spare parts and materials that are required for work orders
Attending daily production meetings
Writing and reviewing maintenance instructions and risk assessments
Essential Skills
Time served Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship preferably with HNC/HND qualification
Experience managing/supervising teams preferable within a manufacturing environment
Safety Qualifications (e.g. IOSH, or willing to work towards IOSH qualification)
Large manufacturing environment experience
Experience in computer management systems
