Your Purpose Will Be
Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical bias) to join our team. As a (Electrical bias), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing Kenfix equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime for the hotel.
Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Kenfix equipment and related systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in Kenfix machinery
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity
- Calibrate and adjust Kenfix equipment to meet performance specifications
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
- Collaborate with other technicians and production staff to optimise equipment efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with industrial machinery
- Stay updated on the latest Kenfix technologies and maintenance techniques
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and operators
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of Kenfix equipment
- Train and mentor junior staff on proper Kenfix equipment operation and maintenance procedures
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and resolve complex technical issues
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering, higher technical qualification, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a technician, preferably with Kenfix equipment
- Relevant experience in a similar capacity within a hotel or facilities management environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Strong knowledge of Kenfix equipment systems and components
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
