Client Details
As Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the month-end process for multiple entities, ensuring high-quality reporting and robust balance sheet control. Alongside core accounting responsibilities, you'll play a key role in modernising reporting processes, improving data flows and enhancing automation across the finance function.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting
- Budgeting and reforecasting support
- Strengthening financial controls and improving processes
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or nearly qualified with strong experience
- Confident owning month-end processes
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Power Pivot and complex formulas - Ideal
- Experience building or improving dashboards, ideally using Power BI
- Naturally analytical and curious
- Motivated by continuous improvement and efficiency
- Strong communicator, able to challenge and influence positively
