About The Role...

Are you passionate about understanding how things really work and turning complex operations into clear, structured, and actionable process maps? Do you thrive in workshops, discovery sessions, and diving deep into granular process detail? If so, this role could be a perfect fit.

Cooper Parry is scaling rapidly through organic growth and acquisitions, and we’re transforming how we operate . Our ambition is to build an agile, efficient, and scalable platform for future growth - and this role will be instrumental in supporting that journey.

As a Manager within our Business Process Optimisation (BPO) team, your core purpose is to capture, document, and visualise end-to-end business processes with precision and structure. Working closely with Senior Managers and stakeholders, you’ll lead the discovery and documentation of current processes and help define future-state workflows.

This role is initially offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis. 

Your focus will be on enabling clarity and alignment across teams, ensuring that process insights are well understood and actionable. While you won’t be responsible for delivering solutions, your work will provide the foundation for informed decision-making and successful implementation by others.

Skills

You’ll bring strong analytical skills, experience in stakeholder engagement, and a structured approach to process improvement, supporting activities such as:

Process Discovery & Design

  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews to understand end to end business processes
  • Document granular workflows, including handoffs, exceptions, and system interactions
  • Produce high quality current state and future state process maps using Lucidchart , Miro, or Visio
  • Identify inefficiencies, duplication, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Apply structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) to inform process design

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops that apply Lean Six Sigma tools to bring stakeholders together to validate and refine processes and understand operational challenges
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, and Transformation teams to ensure process design aligns with future capability
  • Build strong relationships with Service Line Heads, Directors, and operational leaders across the central business function.

Optimisation & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the development of process standards, governance, and documentation frameworks
  • Work with implementation teams to ensure designed processes are practical, scalable, and ready for deployment
  • Champion continuous improvement across service lines and operational teams

Team Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide Assistant Managers and Team Members on process mapping, documentation, and discovery techniques
  • Share best practices and help build a consistent, high ‑ quality approach to process optimisation across the BPO team

Alongside those qualities, you’ll also have…

  • Proven experience in business process optimisation or operational improvement, ideally within professional services or a complex operational environment
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or equivalent project/change management qualification
  • Strong process mapping and analysis skills, with experience using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple initiatives and support delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environmen
