Marketing & Brand Manager

Wylde Jewellers

Full Time | 40 hours per week | On Site (Bath)

£36,000 – £38,000 depending on experience

 

Wylde Jewellers is an independent jewellery business with stores in Bath and Clifton, known for exceptional craftsmanship, bespoke jewellery design and a highly personal client experience.

We are looking for a Marketing & Brand Manager to take ownership of our marketing strategy and oversee the continued development of the Wylde brand across all channels.


This is a hands-on role combining strategic planning with creative delivery. The successful candidate will lead our annual marketing planning, oversee campaigns and events, manage our digital presence and guide the day-to-day output of our Creative Executive.


It is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys both big-picture thinking and practical execution, and who is comfortable working across digital, print, events and brand development.

The Role 

The Marketing & Brand Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering Wylde’s marketing activity across the year, ensuring that our stores, website, events and communications consistently reflect our brand and attract new clients while strengthening relationships with existing customers.


Key areas of responsibility include:


Marketing Strategy

  • Preparing and presenting the annual marketing plan
  • Developing campaigns, seasonal initiatives and promotional activity
  • Monitoring performance and adjusting activity to maximise results


Brand & In-Store Marketing

  • Designing and delivering seasonal store marketing and visual updates
  • Producing in-store marketing materials such as posters, lightboxes and window graphics
  • Creating video content for in-store screens and marketing campaigns


Digital Marketing & Website

  • Overseeing the ongoing development and performance of the website
  • Implementing SEO strategy and content development
  • Writing product descriptions, website articles and campaign pages
  • Monitoring website analytics and digital trends

  • Photography & Content Creation

    • Producing photography and video content for marketing and website use
    • Photographing jewellery stock for website listings
    • Capturing behind-the-scenes workshop content and event imagery
    • Maintaining a structured image library of marketing assets


    Social Media

    • Working closely with the Creative Executive to plan and deliver engaging social media content
    • Monitoring performance and producing monthly reporting
    • Identifying opportunities to improve reach, engagement and visibility


    Client Events & Partnerships

    • Organising client events, launches and experiential marketing activities
    • Managing Wylde’s presence at selected wedding fayres
    • Building relationships with partners, venues and collaborators


    PR & Media

    • Developing relationships with local and wider media
    • Preparing press releases, editorial features and advertising material
  • Supporting interviews and brand features

  • Annual Photoshoot

    • Planning and directing Wylde’s annual marketing photoshoot, including creative direction, venue coordination and styling 


    Team Leadership

    • Managing and supporting the Creative Executive
    • Ensuring a strong pipeline of content across social media, newsletters and the website

     

    About You

    We are looking for someone who is both creative and highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

    You will have experience in a marketing, brand or digital marketing role, with strong design and content creation skills.

     

    Key skills include:

    • Experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns
    • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom)
    • Photography (DSLR camera) and image editing experience
    • Understanding of social media strategy and analytics
    • Knowledge of SEO and website optimisation
    • Excellent written communication and content creation skills
  • Strong organisational and project management ability
  • Confidence managing events, partnerships or PR opportunities

  • Experience in luxury retail, jewellery, fashion or design-led brands would be advantageous but is not essential.
