Job Description Summary
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Specimen Management marketing team in all aspects of tactical marketing. This will include supporting the sales team with exhibitions and events, management of the SM library and demo stock, various aspects of marketing communications including digital tools and general marketing administration.
The role will report to the North West Cluster Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with the SM sales team, clinical team, professional services and EU Marketing team.

About The Role
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and accomplishing marketing activities that elevate our brand presence. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our ambitious projects and the flawless implementation of our marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Leading project management and coordination for internal and external events, including exhibitions and study days.
- Ensuring timely preparation and logistics for exhibitions, including sample selection, literature, and courier arrangements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key organizations and coordinating advertising opportunities.
- Managing ethics and compliance approval processes and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Providing day-to-day marketing support and collaborating on the development of creative marketing collateral.
- Managing digital content and ensuring application of global brand guidelines.
- Developing and managing a repository of success stories and leading the SM Marketing dashboard.
- Coordinating and maintaining marketing materials and samples for the field-based teams.
- You are a proactive and diligent individual with a degree in marketing or a related subject area.
- With 1-3 years of experience in a marketing support role, you bring strong organizational and communication skills.
- You have a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and demonstrate outstanding integrity and accountability. Your familiarity with the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, and you possess excellent planning and time management skills.
- You are computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and have a passion for healthcare.
