HSJ Information is looking for a Marketing Executive to support the delivery of marketing campaigns across our growing portfolio of conferences and awards within the UK healthcare sector.

 

This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their marketing career who is keen to gain hands-on experience running multi-channel campaigns, working with stakeholders across the business, and contributing to the success of high-profile industry events.

 

Working closely with the Event Marketing Manager and wider marketing team, you will help deliver campaigns that attract award entrants, increase conference delegate registrations, and generate sponsorship opportunities

.

 

What You'll Be Doing

 

As a Marketing Executive, you will support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across email,  social media, digital platforms, and event websites.

Your work will help ensure our events reach the right audiences and achieve their growth targets.

 

Campaign Delivery

 

  • Work with your manager to deliver marketing activity across multiple channels including email, direct marketing and social media.
  • Support the execution of campaigns that drive conference attendance, awards entries and  sponsorship interest.
  • Ensure messaging is clear, engaging and aligned with the target audience.

 

Audience Development

 

  • Use internal databases to identify and source relevant contacts aligned with the event audience brief.
  • Work across platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce to locate and organise audience data.
  • Support the development of lead scoring campaigns to identify marketing qualified leads (MQLs).

 

Marketing Execution

 

  • Assist with the management and updating of event websites during campaigns.
  • Create basic marketing copy for emails, brochures, website content and promotional materials.
  • Ensure marketing collateral is stored correctly and links used in promotions are functioning.

 

Campaign Optimisation

 

  • Identify potential improvements or errors across marketing activity including email, social media and website content.
  • Support the continuous improvement of campaign processes and marketing outputs.
  •  

    Reporting & Analysis

     

    • Assist with tracking campaign performance and updating marketing trackers.
    • Attend regular project meetings to report on progress and upcoming activity.
    • Support the creation of post-event campaign reports and insights.

     

    Event Support

     

    • Provide on-site marketing support at events when required.
    • Support the management of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales and editorial teams.

     

    What We're Looking For

     

    Essential

     

    • At least 1 year of experience in marketing
    • Strong written communication and basic copywriting skills
    • Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders
    • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

     

    Desirable

     

    • Experience marketing events, conferences or awards
    • Marketing degree or equivalent qualification
    • Experience working with marketing automation or CRM systems
