We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to supports the delivery of go to market (GTM) activity across DL Retail and Specialty brands by turning brand and GTM strategies into high quality execution. The role ensures campaigns and initiatives are well planned, insight driven, compliant, and delivered at pace across the brand, product and digital workstreams. By executing campaigns, coordinating delivery with internal teams and agencies, and driving continuous optimisation, the GTM Marketing Manager contributes directly to improved commercial performance, stronger customer engagement, and enhanced brand outcomes for Aviva.


What you’ll be doing

  • Campaign Planning and Briefing – Creates clear, insight driven campaign and content briefs, making decisions on objectives, audiences, messaging requirements, timings, measurement and delivery needs.
  • Customer Targeting and Messaging Application – Applies customer insight, tone of voice and proposition messaging frameworks across campaigns and materials. Ensures relevance, consistency and accuracy.
  • Channel and Media Recommendations – Recommends channel, execution refinements, sequencing, creative formats and targeting adjustments to improve reach and performance within the agreed media strategy.
  • Campaign Readiness and Quality Control – Makes decisions on whether creative, content, copy, data requirements and tracking are ready for launch, escalating risks where customer, compliance or brand concerns exist.
  • In Market Optimisation Actions – Interprets performance data and recommends immediate adjustments across creative, messaging, audience segments or channel delivery to maximise campaign performance.
  • Cross Functional Coordination – Manages day to day coordination with Product, Digital, Data, Operations and agencies, making decisions that remove blockers, streamline delivery and maintain campaign pace.
  • Performance Insight and Reporting – Synthesises campaign data into clear insights, highlighting risks, performance variances and opportunities. Informs course correction decisions.

  • What we’re looking for

    • Experience delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns end‑to‑end.
    • Brand strategy or brand management experience
    • Strong media experience, including understanding of media strategy, channel planning and how paid, owned and earned channels work together to deliver campaign and brand outcomes.
    • Knowledge of the UK media landscape, emerging channels, and how media choices influence reach, frequency, cost efficiency and customer impact.
    • Strong capability in briefing, project management and cross‑functional delivery.
    • Understanding of digital marketing, customer journeys and performance drivers.
    • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical actions.
    • Experience managing agencies and coordinating external partners.
    • Strong organisational, communication and prioritisation skills.
    • Experience working in matrix or agile delivery environments.
