The Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team.

In this role, you will develop and deliver marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and drive sales across both paid and organic acquisition channels. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and internal stakeholders to execute targeted marketing plans for specific product groups within IH London’s portfolio.

IH London offers a wide range of services including language teaching, teacher training, examinations and accommodation. Each service serves different audiences with unique needs, and you will be responsible for delivering targeted marketing strategies tailored to these customer segments.

While this is a broad, full-spectrum marketing role, you will also have the opportunity to develop expertise in one or more specialist areas and act as a thought leader within the team.

Specialist areas may include:

Email marketing, copywriting, advertising and creative development
Performance marketing, data and analytics
Content marketing strategy and campaign execution
Campaign measurement, SEO and paid search
Web design, user experience (UX) and website functionality
Graphic design and value proposition development

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver targeted annual marketing plans for assigned product groups.
Conduct market research including competitor analysis, customer segmentation and trend identification to inform marketing strategy.
Create clear, compelling messaging that communicates IH London’s unique value propositions across multiple channels.
Plan, execute and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital advertising, social media, SEO, PPC and email marketing.

Work closely with the Marketing Content Executive to develop engaging and customer-focused marketing campaigns.

Analyse campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), using insights to optimise future campaigns and marketing strategies.

Design and manage web content and user journeys that drive customer engagement, lead generation and sales conversion.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, operations and senior leadership to align marketing activity with business goals.

Present marketing strategies, insights and results to senior management, providing recommendations for future initiatives.

Create high-quality marketing collateral including digital advertisements, brochures, information sheets and other promotional materials.

Essential Skills & Requirements

Qualification in marketing or a relevant field.
Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Solid experience in a marketing role with responsibility for campaign planning and delivery.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing channels.
Highly analytical with the ability to interpret marketing data and campaign performance.

Understanding of customer behaviour and user journeys across multiple marketing touchpoints.

Working knowledge of marketing tools such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Monday.com, Later.com, Canva and Google Analytics.

Understanding of B2B and B2C marketing communications.

Excellent written English with strong copywriting skills.

Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.

A proactive, solution-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign).
Knowledge of PPC advertising, Google Ads and SEO strategies.
Strong visual design awareness and attention to detail.
Interest in international education, languages or cross-cultural communication.
Foreign language skills.
