Marketing Manager - William Wilson - Aberdeen

As a Marketing Manager based in Aberdeen, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Deliver and adapt the existing marketing strategies to support business goals and seasonal priorities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that all marketing initiatives support lead generation and customer growth.
  • Manage an internal team and a network of external agencies, ensuring continued delivery of high-quality marketing output.
  • Maintain and build upon existing brand strategies across all divisions within the William Wilson umbrella, Trade, Retail Showrooms, Websites, BPO, HPHS & Northern Heating.
  • Plan and implement targeted, multi-channel campaigns tailored to both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Manage the Annual Customer Loyalty Promotion & the Vault Platform along with annual corporate events such as the Golf event at Balmoral Castle.
  • Oversee and develop websites, email marketing, paid advertising, grow social media, SEO and content creation.
  • Manage the marketing budget efficiently and report on key metrics to demonstrate campaign performance and ROI.
  • Continue cost-effective delivery without compromising quality or impact.
  • Ensure continued market awareness through competitor and customer insight.
  • Manage event and PR activity, supporting sales and branch teams where appropriate.
  • Ensure all digital platforms are performing effectively and consistently updated. Invest in continued brand visibility across all channels.

  • And here’s what we’d like you to have:

    • Degree educated in Marketing or a related field (preferred).
    • 3–5 years’ experience in a senior marketing role.
    • Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple brands or business units.
    • Strong digital marketing skills with the ability to analyse performance and drive improvement.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and project management skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and collaborate across departments.
    • Willingness to travel to branches across Scotland and take part in Scottish events as and when required.
