We’re looking for an ambitious marketer to join the team, and take us to the next level.
This role is perfect for someone who’s had 3+ years of marketing experience at a startup or fast-paced consumer business in the US.
You will be our point person for the US – we’ll rely on you to understand the market, how we can grow there, and even how we can improve our app. This might mean running focus groups on Monday, creating, filming, and editing social and digital content (often on camera) on Wednesday, and attending events on Fridays.
To make this happen you’ll work closely with the wider teams in the UK and with other Marketing Specialists who manage marketing in our key countries.
A significant part of this role involves filming and producing content yourself, including being on camera for social media, campaigns, and brand storytelling.
This is a full time contractor role, paid gross in your local currency each month.

- A creative thinker – you’re brimming with ideas and not afraid of testing and experimenting them
- Someone confident with using data to make decisions, always asking “why are we doing this and how can we do it better”
- A great storyteller who will proudly be the face of Muzz in the US
Are you comfortable being on-camera?
Content is a core growth lever at Muzz, and this role is expected to lead from the front.You must be comfortable:
- Being on camera regularly for social content, campaigns, and brand storytelling
- Filming short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and other social channels
- Editing or shaping video content end-to-end (from raw footage to final post), whether independently or in collaboration with designers and editors
- Acting as a visible face of Muzz in the US, both online and at events
Requirements
- 3+ years marketing experience in the US
- Comfortable being on camera and creating short-form video content as part of your day-to-day work
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience working in fast-pace consumer tech or consumer brands
- Must be able to travel across US and Canada at least once every 1-2 months
- Proven track record showing you understand how brands can be effective IRL and online
- A strong understanding of Muslim culture and the Muslim scene in the US – either lived or learned
- Good project management and communication skills. You’ll need to work with teams across multiple timezones
- You are authorised to work in the country without sponsorship from Muzz
