Are you a Maths Teacher looking for a new role from September?
A well-regarded secondary school in Southwark is seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their department from September. This role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher who enjoys delivering clear, structured lessons and helping pupils develop confidence in Maths.
You will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for a suitably experienced candidate. The department works collaboratively and has a strong focus on subject knowledge, exam preparation and consistent classroom practice.
Maths Teacher – Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Maths across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
• Plan and deliver lessons covering key mathematical concepts
• Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment
• Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes
Person Specification:
• QTS and a degree in Maths or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
• Experience teaching GCSE Maths (A-Level desirable)
• Clear and consistent behaviour management
