Are you interested in becoming a Matron?

The Division of Surgery is offering a unique development opportunity; a 6-month fixed-term post/secondment, where you will initially work alongside the Matron team to learn the skills required before becoming responsible for your own portfolio.

You will support a speciality triumvirate in the delivery of excellent, compassionate care whilst maintaining high professional standards. We are looking for leaders who are not only ambitious, creative, and focused, but individuals with sound clinical expertise and a passion for providing outstanding care every time for our patients & outstanding support for our staff. Support with your professional development will be provided to meet your individual needs, taking into consideration your previous leadership experience.

You will work in collaboration with the specialty triumvirate to provide assurance of quality and safety for our patients and lead the team to deliver improvements and innovations in practice.

You will be a part of the Divisional Leadership Team, and work within a triumvirate of Operational Manager and Clinical Lead.
