Position Summary:
As a Medical Copywriter, you’ll play a pivotal role in interpreting scientific information and crafting content that informs, engages, and inspires. You’ll work closely with clients, colleagues, and external experts to ensure scientific accuracy while delivering content that is compelling, accessible, and compliant. Projects range from traditional campaigns to digital products and emerging technologies, giving you the chance to broaden your skills and make a real impact on how healthcare insights reach real people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate scientific data into engaging, audience-appropriate copy across multiple channels.
- Ensure content is scientifically accurate, compliant, and aligned with client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative communications strategies.
- Act as a medical knowledge resource for accounts and participate in scientific discussions.
- Manage multiple projects independently, meeting deadlines effectively.
- Contribute to client conversations, presenting insights clearly and confidently.
- Mentor junior colleagues and support the development of team expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong medical or scientific background.
- Proven experience as a medical writer or copywriter in medical communications.
- Oncology experience is essential
- An understanding of the ABPI code of practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in digital communications and emerging media channels.
- Conceptual or strategic content experience is a plus.
