Band 4 Medical Education Co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Medical Education Co-ordinator to join our team. This Band 4 role offers an excellent opportunity to play a key part in supporting the delivery of GP and Dental training programmes.
In this varied and rewarding position, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to Programme Directors, clinical leads, and the Medical Education Manager. You will be central to ensuring the smooth coordination of trainee activities, including recruitment and appointments, inductions, rotations, and study days.
The role also involves financial tracking, stakeholder communication, and maintaining high-quality administrative systems to support education and service delivery.

Main duties of the job
The Medical Education Co-ordinator (MEC) supports the senior management team in the development, management and monitoring of medical and dental training programmes and work experience programmes.
The post holder works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians and administrative teams, and assists with financial administration and budget monitoring.
The MEC provides administrative and management support to the GP/Dental Training Programme Directors (TPDs), Medical Education Manager (MEM) and Strategic Lead Medical Education (SLME), applying Trust policies and procedures as required.
To deliver effective, high-quality administrative support while providing a consistently client-focused service.
The post holder will promote effective communication, strong working relationships and excellent customer service.
