Electrical Engineer - Mobile

Location: Edinburgh & Surrounding Areas


We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrician to deliver a world-class, consistent building maintenance service across a portfolio of government-occupied properties.

This mobile role supports a range of sites within the region, ensuring electrical and building services operate reliably, safely, and to the highest professional standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance tasks within agreed SLAs and timeframes.
  • Undertake electrical fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation across multiple government-contract sites.
  • Deliver additional building services tasks including fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and general maintenance duties.
  • Provide callout response as part of the designated on-call rota.
  • Ensure electrical systems and equipment meet required performance, compliance, and safety standards.


Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Electrician, comfortable working independently across multi-site estates.
  • Facilities Management background preferred
  • Experienced in delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance in commercial environments
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
