Fusebox Games are looking for a Narrative Producer to join us to support the delivery of our interactive stories across iconic reality TV IP and exciting new worlds. This role sits at the heart of the Narrative team, ensuring seasons, writers’ rooms, reviews, playtesting, onboarding, and cross-team collaboration run smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in helping creative teams deliver high-quality interactive storytelling at scale, supporting workflows, coordinating production, improving processes, and helping remove blockers so our writers and leads can focus on creating drama, romance, tension, and those all-important cliff-hangers that keep players coming back for more.
Responsibilities
- Schedule drafting, outlining, review, and playtesting activities across narrative seasons and releases.
- Scope and schedule the concepting, drafting, testing, and review of future seasons and narrative content.
- Organise writers’ rooms and allocate narrative resources alongside the Project Lead Writer, ensuring sufficient support and coverage across the internal team.
- Liaise with the Finance team regarding writers’ room budgeting and planning.
- Manage and maintain narrative production tracking tools, including Favro schedules and feedback grids, ensuring all information remains accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with Producers, Development, and QA teams regarding build availability and playtesting timelines.
- Liaise with other departments to track capacity, dependencies, and narrative requirements, including:
- Briefing timelines
- Implementation reviews
- Delivery deadlines
- Create onboarding folders, documentation, and supporting materials for all new starters within the Narrative team.
- Organise onboarding meetings and coordinate workshop documentation with support from the wider Narrative team.
Experience needed
Experience working in production coordination, narrative operations, project coordination, or similar operational roles within games, entertainment, TV, publishing, or creative industries.
Required Skills
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced live-service production environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple disciplines.
- Experience using production tracking tools such as Favro, Jira, Monday.com or similar.
- Comfortable coordinating cross-functional workflows and dependencies.
- Proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and production requirements.
- Strong documentation and administrative skills.
- Passion for storytelling, games, and narrative-driven experiences desirable.
