Position Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our Food Sales team managing the Nutrition and Food category across Pureplay customers. You will also lead the Amazon Fresh business for all NUK categories.

This is a vital role within the Pureplay team to manage a key category and deliver exceptionally high growth targets across two complex but strategically important customers to Nestlé globally. You will manage a wide range of stakeholders internally across the Zone and UK and externally with a range of buyers in Amazon and Ocado. This role has additional responsibility as NAM lead for Amazon Fresh and Ocado Zoom for NUK categories.

Your impact

Working as part of our Sales team, you will be responsible for developing customer relationships and delivering profitable volume & value growth accelerating CMC & NNS/T through SRM. You will also be expected to keep abreast of competitor activity and market intelligence and support with the development of the Digital Commerce Channel strategy to ensure we have the tools we need to win in this area now and in the future.

You will also:

• Develop and agree customer specific joint business plans (JBP’s) to successfully achieve Nestlé’s and the customer’s commercial goals, including leading and negotiating the Amazon Fresh JBP for NUK categories.

Understand and execute plans in line with the 5 pillar Nestle eCom strategy including a clear action plan which is understood and aligned to the category teams in the UK and Zone. Including developing customer portfolios, utilising the data available, securing best in class eContent and marketing budgets. Providing eCom and retailer intelligence to help shape ICP.

Provide key support to the Nutrition & Food ZEur Team as the UK SPOC on key project work, to further build Nestlé's digital leadership across Pureplay customers and total grocery. Ensure eCom ways of working are embedded into Nutrition & Food UK ICP.

Your ingredients for success

To be successful, you’ll already have a fantastic breadth of sales and commercial experience, ideally operating as a National Account Manager and have a blend of sales and category experience.

You will be passionate, tenacious, results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for our brands, you will have commercial capability and have experience of influencing across all levels. What’s key is your real passion for all things eCommerce and digital and the ability to work in an environment that can be, at times, ambiguous.

You will also:

• Be a skilled negotiator and have the ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations.

Have an understanding of forecast planning principles.

Demonstrate a solid level of analytical and numeracy capability including the basics of customer Profit and Loss statements.

Understand the importance of working in a customer centric way.

Be curious! Specifically, to help develop your Category Management skills and techniques.

Be courageous, we’re not afraid to think differently and embrace new ideas. We want you to disrupt what we do in the right way to drive great results and change.

Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and take ownership of your personal development journey.

eCommerce experience is a plus
