Job Title: Network Architect
Day Rate: £400/day (OUTSIDE IR35)
Location: Mainly Remote
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Network Architect - Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for network solutions, facilitating workshops and discovery sessions to translate stakeholder objectives into actionable design inputs.
- Lead the architectural planning lifecycle, evaluating design options and ensuring proposed solutions meet performance, scalability, and resilience requirements.
- Define and govern project scope documentation, including deliverables, constraints, risks, and acceptance criteria for network implementations.
- Produce architecture blueprints that communicate overall network structure, technology selection, and design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop detailed implementation artefacts, including configuration standards, interface specifications, and deployment guidelines to support build and integration teams.
Network Architect - Required Experience
- Active SC Clearance
- 5+ years in Network Architecture roles
- Cisco certifications (CCIE/CCNP)
- HLD/LLD
- LAN/WAN, SD-WAN
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
