About This Role
We are looking for a Network Architect Team Leader to join our team. We are growing our Data and Services business, creating insights from satellites developed and operated in-house.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture, design, implementation and evolution of hybrid spaceterrestrial telecommunications networks. This is essential for AAC Clyde Space to achieve its ambition to lead the creation of new VDES maritime communication services. The role combines deep technical leadership and building capability, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance data and communication services across satellite, ground, and cloud infrastructures in line with company plans, budgets and standards.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for product quality and innovation, who has experience of working with Earth Observation and geospatial data. You should be comfortable working in an Agile development environment. The position offers the opportunity to share your expertise in a fast-growing space technology company that is bringing new data and insights to address challenges in business and government.
The role is based in London where Hybrid Working is available. The nature of the role will require essential, occasional business travel (both local and global) plus the occasional out of hours work that may be required to support customer and business activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end network architecture for space systems, including space segment, ground segment and cloud integration
- Evaluate architectural options for the deployment of core, user access, security, data, operations and business domains to meet strategic and project objectives
Architect data transport, routing, and service delivery for Telemetry, tracking & control (TT&C), payload data distribution and services
- Lead architectural trade-offs considering functional, non-functional and cost drivers.
