Description
We are looking for Network Security Architect at Knutsford, UK– 3 days per week Onsite
Role Purpose:
- Responsible for defining enterprise network security architecture, ensuring secure design of all on prem, cloud, and hybrid network environments. Provides architectural governance, technical leadership, and develops long term security roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain network security architecture standards and reference designs.
- Lead design reviews for major transformation programmes (cloud migration, SD WAN, zero trust).
- Architect end to end security controls across firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, DNS, and proxy services.
- Define secure network patterns for hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Perform threat modelling and risk assessments.
- Provide leadership to engineering teams and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, security models, and zero-trust networking.
- Strong understanding of firewall, IDS/IPS, proxy, DNS, VPN, segmentation, DDoS mitigation.
Desirable:
- CISSP, CCIE Security, TOGAF, Azure/AWS security certifications
