Job Title: Neurodiversity Strategy Coach

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday

Location: Home based within the UK, with travel to client sites as required

Salary: £32,000 per annum

As a Neurodiversity Strategy Coach, you will work with a diverse range of clients to deliver tailored one-to-one coaching that builds practical strategies, confidence and independence in the workplace. Your expertise will help employees develop effective ways of working while supporting organisations to create more neuroinclusive environments. We also offer the opportunity to qualify as a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) to support your ongoing professional development.

Main Objectives

Working with a growing portfolio of clients and as part of passionate and high-quality team, the successful applicant will carry out tailored one to one coaching using problem solving skills to help empower neurodiverse employees. The coaching will be around workplace tasks and areas of difficulty related to a specific Neurodiverse condition such as dyslexia, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum disorder. This area is expected to grow and as such is an exciting time to join our organisation.
Whilst predominately a home-based role with the coaching delivered remotely via videoconference, the successful applicant could be expected to travel on occasion to client sites.
We offer the ability to qualify as a CDMP (Certified Disability Management Professional) in a growing part of the business.

Specific Responsibilities

Facilitating and delivery of neurodiverse strategy coaching sessions within timely manner (typically within 10 days of receipt of referral and thereafter every second week).
Issue of interim neurodiverse strategy coaching report following each session (typically within 48 hours of each session) and final report within 5 working days of service completion.

Updating and maintaining of client records on a database to ensure timely billing of strategy coaching sessions.

Working alongside a team of coaches to share best practice, develop tools and resources.

Contributing to steering groups, providing support and advice to colleagues.

Identify risks (e.g. personal, financial, legal, timescale/pace, etc.) and determine appropriate actions, provide advice and guidance. Escalate any issues or delays as appropriate. Keep managers up to date.

Maintain complete and accurate records, including training records and case notes, on the appropriate company systems

Build and maintain effective working relationships with client partners and stakeholders who have a remit around the support of neurodiverse staff (e.g. Managers, HR Business Partners, Facilities Management, Occupational Health, Health and Safety, IT and Assistive Technology Management, etc.). Be aware of their pressures and deal with these stakeholders sensitively and with influence.

Be proactive in working closely with the wider team to provide accurate disability related advice and guidance (including individual cases).

Requirements for this role

Essential

Strong neurodiversity knowledge and an experience of delivering strategy coaching in this area.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office 365 including MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Knowledge of Equality Act and Disability legislation affecting employees.
Ability to coach, mentor and encourage others to promote wellbeing and self-care.
Strong Interpersonal Skills.
Flexible and adaptable.
Ability to produce accurately written high level reports and training records.
Able to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Able to use discretion and show empathy and be sensitive to needs of others.
Able to maintain accurate records using a bespoke database.
Ability to travel independently to sites across north of England & other areas as required.
Able to identify risks to contract or to employees including safeguarding Ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Desirable

A qualification in psychometric assessment and knowledge/experience of neurodiversity screening tools for ASD/ADHD and dyslexia.
