The Role:
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Flexible working with 3 days PW in our city centre hub)
Work schedule: Monday to Friday 9-5
Our unique and innovative specification platform helps reduce the time and resource needed to produce high-quality specifications. We help practices improve consistency and confidence across projects. This is a pure new business role focused on winning new logos.
This is what you’ll be doing:
- You will prospect and build pipeline through proactive outreach, smart targeting, and disciplined follow-up.
- You’ll work alongside our celebrated marketing team and a passionate appointment-setting function who help create momentum.
- You own the new business outcome, but you won’t be doing it alone.
- You will run structured discovery with Partners, Practice Managers, Technical Directors, and Specification Writers to uncover workflow friction, risk, and commercial drivers.
- You will deliver confident, value-led demos that translate capability into time savings and better outcomes.
- You will build proposals that are clear, commercial, and decision-ready.
About You
- You love new business. You enjoy opening doors, creating pipeline, learning and winning new logos through consultative conversations.
- You have proven B2B sales experience and you can own the full cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, pipeline management, Salesforce hygiene, proposal development, negotiation, and close. You are credible in consultative conversations with professional services buyers and senior stakeholders.
- We actively welcome adjacent sellers from legal tech, regtech, workflow tools, and professional services platforms.
- You are organised, resilient, and accountable.
