Job role: Nights Support Worker
Location: Heathside, Penketh,Warrington, WA5 2EY
Hours: 36 Hours per week
Salary: £12.71 per hour (plus an extra £1 night enhancement )
Service Brief:
Heathside is a 37 bed residential home based in Penketh. The team at Heathside provide a service for older people and people with dementia who need the support and safety of a shared living environment.
The service supports residents with their day to day living needs, personal care and other areas which help people to live their life in a way that meets their needs, wants and wishes.
You will work as part of a team to ensure the needs of the residents are met during the course of the shift.
WCL Support Worker Brief:
Provide professional, high quality support to people within their own home and other environments in a way which maximises their choice and independence; allowing them to have a high quality of life and make their own decisions while supporting and living out our Values within your role.
You will be required to deliver person centred support to meet the care needs, which includes but is not limited to personal, practical, social and domestic support, which is agreed within an individual care plan while exemplifying best practice at all times. Support should promote the individual's health and well-being and support

Whilst experience is preferred, whether through Support Work, Care Assistant roles or through supporting friends or family members, it isn't essential as full training and support will be given.
