Job Title: Nurse (Days)

Salary: £24ph, increasing to £24.36ph from 1st April 2026

Hours: Full-Time permanent contract. 7am-7pm, 3 days per week, including alternate weekends,

  • About St Andrew's Nursing And Care Home

    St Andrew's is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

    Role Responsibilities As a Nurse

    You'll work with the Home Manager, Clinical Lead and other trained nurses in the Home, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to ensure the highest standards of care are always delivered to our residents. This should ensure positive outcomes for our residents including, inter alia: no pressure sores, no unavoidable weight loss (or gain), safe administration of medication, and all falls are minimised.

    You'll support our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.

    You'll be responsible for administering medication, writing and updating nursing care plans and keeping accurate daily records, as well as keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required.

    You'll be promoting our resident's choice, dignity and independence and all times and assist with the management of the care team, completing all action plans and ensuring care plans are updated and evaluated regularly.

    Role Requirements as a Nurse
    :

    Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD)).

    Minimum Of One Year Experience In Nursing Home Setting

    Experience of writing Person-Centred Care Plans

    Residing within 30 minutes of the Home

    Leadership and people skills

    Ability to work under pressure

    Time management and flexibility with working hours

    A caring and nurturing attitude

    Positive and enthusiastic outlook

    Written and verbal communication skills
