Job Description

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic nursery officers to join our friendly and professional staff team at Windmill Children’s Centre and Nursery.
These roles are exciting, challenging, stimulating and rewarding. We need you to have a secure knowledge of child development, the Early Years Foundation Stage, excellent communication skills, ability to work in smaller group sizes with higher adult to child ratios, the interest to work within a multi-disciplinary team as well as thinking and responding in a fast paced environment.
The successful candidates should be excited to work with children with a range of needs and be dedicated, passionate and committed to achieving the very highest standards of the quality within their teaching and learning. We want individuals who can see the possibilities for our exceptional children and have the energy and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate every child to reach their potential.
You must have a minimum, full and relevant early years L3 qualification and a willingness to learn skills to work with children who have additional and complex needs.
Successful applicants will be expected to take 20 days annual leave at fixed times when the centre is closed, typically 2 weeks in the summer, 1 week at Easter and 1 week at Christmas, and to work 35 hours per week, set shifts of 8:30 until 4pm, 5 days per week with a dedicated staff room where you can sit as a team.

Please note: These posts are based in the nursery at Windmill Children’s Centre. The nursery is not affected by the current Ealing Children’s Centres Consultation.
