Forest Row Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated Nursery Supervisor to lead our nursery provision and ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners.
The Nursery Supervisor will play a key role in delivering high‑quality early years education and care. You will be responsible for planning and implementing the nursery curriculum, supervising staff on a day‑to‑day basis, and ensuring that all statutory and safeguarding requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead on long‑term, medium‑term and session planning to ensure children work towards desirable learning outcomes.
Deliver high‑quality teaching and ensure staff are effectively deployed to support children’s learning and development.
Oversee the daily programme of nursery activities and events.
Carry out observations and maintain accurate records of children’s progress.
Monitor the quality of teaching and identify training needs within the team.
Maintain all required records, including accident and incident logs.
Build strong relationships with parents/carers, sharing information and encouraging involvement in the nursery.
Ensure the nursery environment is safe, hygienic and well‑maintained, with robust safety procedures in place.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
RQF Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
Evidence of recent and relevant professional development.
Experience working in a childcare setting, including supporting children with special educational needs.
