At Spire Norwich Hospital, we're looking for an experienced and dynamic Nursing Team Leader to join our ward team. This is an exciting oppotunity for a passionate nurse who is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey and play a key role in delivering outstanding care in a fast paced, patience focused environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
As a nursing team leader, you will lead and support a dedicated team of nurses and healthcare assistant, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care is delivered to every patient. You will act as a role model and provide clinical and operational leadership across the department, working closing with the ward manager and wider MDT.
- Provide strong clinical leadership to nursing staff on shift
- ensure the effective day to day management of the ward, maintaining high standards of care
- Act as a mentor, support and develop team members, encouraging learning and professional growth
- Work collaboratively with consultants, and other MDTs
- Contribute to clinical governances, quality and improvements
- Ensure compliance with infection control, health and safety ad CQC requirements
Who We Are Looking For
- NMC registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience
- proven experience within an acute setting. You must have surgical experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- excellent communcation and interpersonal skills
- A positive approach
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday-Sun / 12 hour shifts 07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30
