Occupational Hygiene Technician
SOCOTEC is one of the UK's leading provider of Environment and Safety services, and we are expanding our Occupational Hygiene team. We are seeking a qualified or part-qualified Occupational Hygienist to join our enthusiastic southern regional team, where you'll work on diverse projects helping clients safeguard their workforce from workplace health hazards.
About The Role
In this position, you will work alongside our multidisciplinary team of specialists, delivering Occupational Hygiene Consultancy services to a varied client base throughout the south of the UK. You will gain hands-on experience across a range of projects, from monitoring chemical exposures to assessing noise and vibration levels, ensuring compliance with COSHH Regulations, Control of Noise at Work Regulations, and Control of Vibration at Work Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Hygiene Consultancy services to a diverse client base across multiple sectors
- Produce comprehensive technical reports incorporating site observations, laboratory results, and practical client recommendations
- Maintain rigorous quality and accreditation standards across all projects
- Liaise with clients to plan and arrange projects
- Maintains up-to-date awareness of sector developments, regulatory changes, best practices, and SOCOTEC policies
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proficient IT skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong initiative and effective time management capabilities
- BOHS W501 or W503 (preferred)
- BOHS W505, W507, and P601 modules
- Degree in relevant field
