We are seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Community Neurology Team.
The successful individual will be based in Gorleston and work around the Great Yarmouth & Waveney area. They will join an enthusiastic and supportive multi-disciplinary neurology team in providing high quality care and rehabilitation.
We are looking for someone with experience in supporting people with progressive neurological conditions. We have a strong commitment to clinical supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD), offering a supportive and proactive environment with opportunities for supervision, training and peer support. We work closely with Stroke Early Supported discharge and primary care home colleagues.

Qualifications
Essential
- Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Occupational TherapyHCPC registrationEvidence of relevant post graduate courses/CPD in neurology or rehabilitation
Desirable
- Membership of relevant specialist group e.g. RCOT SSNPClinical Educator's course
Experience
Essential
- Band 5 experience which includes relevant work in variety of settings community and /or acute within specialities of stroke, neurology and multi-pathologyExperience of variety of assessment skills within different clinical areas, including standardised assessmentsEvidence of involvement in service development, e.g., working on projects
Desirable
- Worked as a band 6Rehabilitation ward/community experienceCognitive Rehabilitation TrainingBasic Psychology trainingHealth Coaching/ Motivational interviewing skillsPosture, wheelchair and seating assessment

The neurology team consists of specialist nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and assistant practitioners.
