Description

Office & Community Coordinator

Major Players x RUVO

London based | 3 - 4 days per week in office | Creative & marketing industries | £28k/yr

The role

This is a hands-on, all-rounder role at the heart of Major Players and RUVO. We’re looking for someone who loves getting stuck in, takes real pride in making things run brilliantly, and gets a genuine buzz from supporting people, events, and community.

You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of a busy recruitment business and a fast-growing freelance community. No two days look the same. One minute you might be helping prep an event, the next supporting candidates, sorting logistics, jumping on socials, or keeping everything moving behind the scenes.

This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants proper exposure to the creative and marketing industries, real responsibility, and a front-row seat to how a modern recruitment business and community platform are built.

What you’ll be doing:

Recruitment & sales support

  • Supporting with recruitment and sales admin and coordination
  • Ensuring candidate experience is excellent at every touchpoint.
  • Answering phones and being a friendly, professional first point of contact

Events & logistics

  • Being the calm, capable person who makes sure everything just works
  • Supporting both Major Players and RUVO events, from small sessions to larger community moments in event planning, set-up, guest lists, comms, and on-the-day delivery

Community, socials & marketing support

  • Supporting day-to-day community management for RUVO
  • Helping with social media content, scheduling, engagement, and ideas
  • Keeping a pulse on what’s happening in the community and spotting opportunities to engage
  • Supporting marketing activity across both brands with a keen eye and positive energy

General office & leadership support

  • Being a trusted support to the leadership team
  • Helping keep the office organised, efficient, and welcoming
  • Picking things up quickly, spotting what needs doing, and just getting on with it
  • Acting as a true right-hand support across the business

  • Who this role is perfect for

This role is all about attitude and energy.

You might be early in your career, recently graduated, or looking for your first proper role in the creative or marketing industries. What matters most is that you are:

    • A proper doer who loves being busy and useful
    • Highly organised, proactive, and reliable
    • Someone who takes real pride in making things great, not just good enough
    • Naturally helpful, positive, and switched on
    • Comfortable talking to people and supporting candidates, clients, and community members
    • Genuinely excited by the creative industries and community-led businesses
    • Happy being in the office and part of a team, 3–4 days per week

You’re the kind of person who notices what needs doing before being asked, enjoys supporting others to succeed, and feels proud when everything runs smoothly because of your input.

Why this is a great opportunity

    • Real responsibility and exposure from day one
    • Work across two exciting, fast-moving brands
  • Learn how recruitment, community, events, and marketing really work
  • Be surrounded by creative, driven people
  • A brilliant foundation role for someone who wants to build a long-term career in this industry

  • This is not a quiet admin role. It’s a high-energy, high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to graft, learn fast, and be part of something growing.

We’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer and an active advocate for diversity across the creative industries. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are happy to make adjustments throughout the recruitment process.
