Bixby Research & Analytics is currently seeking an Operations/Compliance Associate based out of our Glasgow, UK office.

- Develop deep knowledge of the leveraged loan market, which continues to grow in size and weight
- Access to the resources of Fitch, including career advancement opportunities (dependent on exceptional performance)
- Lead the expansion of Bixby’s product into the European market
- Daily Operational/Compliance procedures.
- Work closely with Compliance Manager and senior research staff to manage compliance programs and execute on associated operational processes and control systems.
- Document Management/Categorization.
- Review, revise, and continuously improve upon, existing compliance programs, policies and procedures as necessary to identify risks and stay in line with mandated compliance policies.
- Ability to review own work product to ensure accuracy and completeness in a time-sensitive environment.
- Permission management of document and site access.
- Bachelor’s degree required. A variety of educational histories will be considered for this role, especially those with Accounting/Financial/Legal backgrounds.
- Compliance and operational experience. Specific experience in finance / asset management is strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF skills required.
- Established skills in accuracy, organization, and experience working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to manage and execute challenging projects with minimal oversight.
- Prior experience with virtual data rooms is preferred.
- General understanding of financial markets is preferred
