The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a junior-level OTC Trader to support global trading operations across spot and options-based crypto products. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-time pricing, execution, and risk management in a highly quantitative environment. You’ll work closely with experienced traders, quants, and engineers while applying core derivatives knowledge to a rapidly evolving asset class.
The position can be based in London, Zug, or the United States, depending on eligibility and preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Price and execute OTC and options trades while responding to client requests in real time
- Assist senior traders with position monitoring, trade reconciliation, and portfolio oversight
- Support risk management by ensuring activity remains within defined limits
- Analyze market data, volatility surfaces, and option sensitivities to inform trading decisions
- Partner with quantitative and engineering teams to enhance trading tools and systems
- Monitor macroeconomic and digital asset market trends that influence trading strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or finance-focused discipline (e.g., Math, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance)
- Prior exposure to options or derivatives trading (internship or entry-level desk experience acceptable)
- Solid grasp of options theory, including volatility, Greeks, and payoff structures
- Comfortable working with data and analytical tools such as Excel and Python
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to perform under time pressure
- Curious, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in financial innovation and digital assets
