Primary purpose
The Archdeacon of Portsdown seeks to appoint a personable and efficient colleague with an enquiring mind, a proactive approach, good relational skills, and proven administrative competence.
General Responsibilities
- To provide appropriate support as requested by the Archdeacon of Portsdown in the exercise of their duties
- To provide oversight to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the Archdeacon’s office, ensuring that all key functions of the office are delivered to the highest possible standard
- To ensure that all contact with the Archdeacon’s office is dealt with in a timely, courteous and efficient manner
- To identify possible areas for development and change
- To contribute to the sustaining and development of a positive team and a learning culture
- To act as a sounding board for the Archdeacon
Terms
- Working hours: to be confirmed, a minimum of 3-4 days per week (21-30 hours).
- Salary: £26.5k-£29k FTE
