As
Packing Line Leader, you’ll guide a team of Packing Technicians, support continuous improvement, and help us deliver life‑changing medicines right first time, every time. In this key position, you’ll oversee automated and semi‑automated packing lines, ensuring production targets, compliance standards, and safety expectations are consistently met. You’ll act as the first point of contact on the line, supporting coordination, troubleshooting, real‑time decision-making, and team development.
Shift pattern is Mon-Fri 6am-2pm and Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm alternating weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day packing line operations, ensuring adherence to the production plan and compliance standards.
- Coordinate and support Packing Technicians, including training, task allocation, and maintaining skill levels across the team.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and manage efficient batch changeovers in line with GMP and SOP requirements.
- Liaise with Quality Assurance to ensure timely and accurate batch documentation (EBR, SAP, or paper-based).
- Step up to cover the Packing Team Leader when required, including running tier meetings and acting as point of contact for Production.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and overall line performance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Previous people management experience is preferred.
- Experience from a packing operation.
- A hands‑on, solution-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A passion for quality, safety, and operational excellence.
