Description
The candidate would work within the Pediatric Specialist Nursing Team to oversee care delivered to children under this specialist service. We are looking for someone with good previous experience in this specialty.
The role will also include line management responsibilities. The successful candidate should be willing to complete additional leadership training to be able to have strong oversight of the service. The successful candidate will also be involved with service development, governance and quality.
The role includes working closely with our community provider to provide a cohesive and joined up service. We are looking for someone who is dedicated in providing high quality inpatient and outpatient care to the children and young people under our service.
To provide clinical leadership and expertise in a speciality by providing information, support, advice and specialist knowledge to patients, their families and carers, and to act as a resource to the multi-professional team. To participate in the co-ordination of patient care to ensure continuity throughout the patient’s care pathway. To be pivotal in review and development of the service, and to reflect the needs of the patient group.
To liaise closely with the health care teams of inpatient wards, outpatient department and primary care, including Consultant Physicians and GP’s. To demonstrate wide and in-depth experience of all aspects of the speciality, exercising clinical leadership and ef
