Dedicated Support for Your Growth
Our Paediatric ED now has a new, dedicated Practice Educator to support both new and experienced nurses in developing the specific skills needed for success in the Paediatric Emergency Department.
We have recently increased our B6 establishment, to support junior nurses in the department.

St Georges, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey. Main duties of the job
The post holder will;
- provide evidenced based, high quality assessment and care to children and their families attending the Emergency Department
- supervise, support and educate other team members, including nursing and medical students
- develop and maintain advanced Emergency Nursing skills
- advise on health promotion and prevention of illness/injury
- advocate for children and families
- ensure safe and effective clinical practice and enhance patient experience.
- ensure the promotion and implementation of trust policies and the effective delivery of organisational objectives

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Criteria
- RN Child with NMC registration
- Degree in relevant health subject
