Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team to work full time hours Monday-Friday.

The post holder will work as a Senior team member for the Pain Management team and be responsible for providing excellent customer service and contributing proactive information to support the waiting list team.

Candidates should be capable of undertaking a demanding workload and must be able to demonstrate a significant level of initiative. Candidates should possess advanced keyboard skills and must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive and high-quality support as a Team Leader with strong administrative support, working closely with the Pain Management clinical teams across the trust.

Essential criteria

  • GCSE English and Maths pass or equivalent
  • ECDL or equivalent
  • MS Word for Windows
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • NVQ Level 3 Administration or equivalent practical knowledge

Desirable criteria

  • Completion of an NHS Leadership Management course

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Competent with current software programmes (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience of taking and recording meeting minutes
  • Be able to work in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience of working within a team environment

Desirable criteria

  • Working in the NHS either in a hospital/private practice/GP setting
  • Provide general non-clinical advice
