Elevate is recruiting Paralegal to join our Compliance Operation Team in the UK.
As a Paralegal you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our Customer, using your attention to detail skills, reviewing high volumes of litigation documents, cooperating with a wider team.
Specifically, a Paralegal will:
- Perform abstraction of low to mid complexity contracts including NDAs, Software License etc.
- Review low to mid complexity contracts.
- Review high volumes of complex litigation documents with highest productivity and accuracy.
- Identify and assess the impact of application of review guidelines on documents.
- Draft Decision Logs.
- Ensure adherence to Elevate’s standard operating procedures on projects.
Skills for success:
- Proven ability to work in a client-centric, deadline driven environment.
- Acute attention to detail while also using good judgment to achieve desired results within timelines.
- Excellent drafting skills, particularly depicting complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Flexibility working on different projects from contract abstraction/review to litigation document review.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of relevant legal practice.
- Excellent track record in previous position with client support/customer service.
- Experience in abstraction and reviewing of low to mid complexity contracts.
- Experience in litigation document review.
Technical skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and use workflow tools, such as Cael or QuickBase.
Qualifications:
- Law Degree.
