Nottinghamshire County Council's Neurodevelopmental Support Team as seeking to recruit a Parent and Family Worker to undertake detailed reviews and evaluations of a child's need for a referral to a community paediatrician where they are displaying behaviours indicative of Autism and/or ADHD.
You Will Have
- Experience of working with children and families
- An understanding of child development
- Knowledge of neurodiversity, particularly Autism and ADHD
- Experience of completing assessments and undertaking observations,
- An ability to manage their own time and work load and complete assessments to timescales
This is an extremely busy service with high levels of referrals for assessment and support.
The service is funded by the Integrated Commissioning board and the posts are temporary until May 2028.
