About This Opportunity
CTOT, the Council’s in-house Transport Team, are looking to recruit for Passenger Assistants.
This is an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling role and you will contribute to the delivery providing transport for mainstream and SEND pupils, delivering a quality service to our passengers. We are looking for compassionate, proactive people who can work as part of a team and react to challenges, whilst providing a high standard of passenger safety and care throughout the journey. Experience of working with children is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given. You must be able to keep accurate records. Enhanced DBS clearance is required; full training, and uniform is provided.
All contracts offered are Monday to Friday, term time only on a split shift basis (approx. 07.15-09.30 and 14.30-16.45).
We are advertising for 3 Passenger Assistants. Please see below breakdown of hours and pro rata equivalent salary:
2 x Vacancies for 25 hours per week, school term-time only:
Pro rata equivalent salary: £13,979 to £14,198
1 x Vacancy 22.5 hours per week, school term-time only
Pro rata equivalent salary: £12,581 to £12,779
These roles are available on a permanent basis.
