Starting salary £25,758 plus annual bonus potential £1,200 (paid quarterly)
25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, and a company pension scheme with highly competitive employer contribution rates

As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll be part of a team of over 100 colleagues responsible for maintaining and managing employee records and payroll information across one of the UK’s largest workforces.
About The Role
Processing and maintaining high volumes of payroll data
Applying effective checks and controls to ensure payroll accuracy and reduce risk
Ensuring all payroll activity complies with business policies and statutory requirements
Delivering Pay Services processes accurately to internal and external stakeholders
Responding to queries with a professional, customer-first approach
Identifying and escalating service issues promptly
Highlighting opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to team meetings and discussions
Taking ownership of your development and supporting the wider team
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a detail-focused and proactive individual who is confident working with data.
You’ll bring:
Experience in payroll administration and an understanding of payroll processes
A good working knowledge of Excel
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience handling large data sets
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
A proactive approach to improving processes and service delivery
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
