We are looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist or Senior Payroll Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and take overall responsibility in ensuring all payroll matters are handled with great care and in full compliance with all aspects of legislation whilst maintaining a positive relationship with each payroll stakeholder.
Location is flexible for this role, but candidates should be within commuting distance of our Aberdeen or Edinburgh office.
The Payroll Specialist/Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Process end-to-end payroll, including complex payroll scenarios and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current payroll and taxation legislation.
- Administer auto-enrolment processes, including re-enrolment
- Conduct data analysis using strong Excel skills
- Organise and prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external clients
- Manage client expectations and promptly resolve any payroll-related issues
About You:
- A leader of your work and your professional learning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others.
- Previous experience of working Pay Circle payroll software would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Relevant experience in this or a similar role is preferred
