Description
- You will develop the PCB Layouts for PMU IC silicon validation purposes
- You'll work closely with the Silicon Validation HW teams to understand the board requirements, providing help and guidance during the schematic generation stage and proposing design trade-offs for resolution and implementation where appropriate
- Assist fellow PCB Layout Engineers in the resolution of critical design problems
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or industrial experience equivalent
- Deep knowledge of PCB Layout, including signal & power integrity considerations
- Experienced in the design of cutting-edge dense, complex PCB including HDI and extra fine pitch BGA fan-out using Cadence Allegro
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing, assembly processes and current state of the art
- Experienced in building complex impedance-controlled stack-ups with blind and buried vias
- A detailed understanding of PCB Design tool flows including schematic entry
- Knowledge of DC-DC converters and PMU’s (Power Management Units) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to collaborate, work independently and proactively while making sound technical decisions
