Were looking for a People Operations Partner to help run and improve the operational backbone of our people function as Duffel continues to grow globally.

In this role youll take ownership of core people operations processes from onboarding and global payroll to employee lifecycle management helping ensure our team has a seamless experience as we scale. Youll work closely with Recruiting, Finance, Legal, and our Social team
to support hiring, employee experience, and the systems that keep our people operations running smoothly.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys building efficient processes, improving systems, and supporting a growing team in a fast-moving startup environment .

What You Will Do

  • Own and improve core People Operations processes , including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and internal documentation
  • Partner with Recruiting to support hiring operations and ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee, including contracts, onboarding preparation, and first-day readiness
  • Manage and coordinate global payroll , working with Finance and external providers to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Support global employment administration , including contracts, benefits administration, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Maintain and improve people systems, data, and operational processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Partner with Finance and Legal on employment documentation, payroll, and compliance processes
  • Coordinate with the Social team to support company rituals, celebrations, and internal events that strengthen Duffels culture
  • Provide operational support for office logistics or workplace needs , including helping coordinate office improvements or moves where needed
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support people reporting and operational insights
  • Use employee feedback and people data to identify opportunities to improve processes and the overall employee experience

  • What we're looking for in you

    • Around 46 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Generalist roles
    • Experience supporting global payroll and multi-country employment administration
    • Experience working in a startup or scaling company environment
    • Experience partnering with Recruiting teams to support hiring operations and onboarding
    • Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or people systems
    • A strong operational mindset you enjoy building processes and improving how things work
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Legal, Recruiting, or Workplace teams
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Comfortable working with people data and operational metrics to improve processes and support decision-making
  • Strong appreciation for data accuracy and system integrity
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Experience supporting remote teams is desirable but not essential
