Description

Recruiting an experienced Strategic People Business Partner on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a senior, high-impact role partnering with Corporate Functions to drive people strategy, organisational effectiveness and cultural alignment. Based in Birmingham, the role requires 2-3 days onsite each week (ideally Tuesday-Thursday). The contract sits inside IR35 and pays £523 per day, with an immediate start following the interview process.

Client Details

We're supporting a fast-paced organisation to recruit an experienced Strategic People Business Partner on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a senior, high-impact role partnering with Corporate Functions to drive people strategy, organisational effectiveness and cultural alignment.
Based in Birmingham, the role requires 2-3 days onsite each week (ideally Tuesday to Thursday). This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, inside IR35, paying £523 per day.

Description

You will work closely with senior leaders across Corporate Functions to shape and deliver a forward‑looking people agenda. You'll act as a trusted advisor, influencing decision‑making, supporting transformation initiatives and helping leaders build high‑performing teams.

  • Partner with Corporate Function leaders to define and execute the people strategy
  • Lead workforce planning, organisational design and talent initiatives
  • Support transformation activity, including M&A, TUPE, and cultural change
  • Drive performance, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Use data and insights to shape decision‑making and measure impact
  • Play a key role in organisational effectiveness across G&A / corporate teams

Profile

  • Proven experience as a senior HRBP or Strategic People Partner in fast‑paced, complex environments
  • Strong influencing skills with experience partnering at C‑Suite level
  • Experience within technology environments or PE-backed organisations
  • Commercial, strategic, and able to operate as a true partner
  • Experienced in change, restructures, and M&A/TUPE
  • Personable, pragmatic, and able to build trust quickly

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly
