Role Description
This is a full-time (average 32hours) Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician position based on-site in Brentwood. Responsibilities include reliably supporting the dispensing of medications, addressing customer inquiries, providing healthcare advice, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The role requires working closely with pharmacists and other team members to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency in a community pharmacy setting.
Qualifications
- Experience in dispensing medications and familiarity with pharmacy procedures.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to assist patients effectively.
- Basic math and organizational skills for inventory management and payment processing.
- An understanding of health and safety standards, as well as pharmacy compliance requirements.
- A professional and caring attitude aligned with the values and mission of Day Lewis Pharmacy.
- Nationally recognized qualifications or certifications appropriate for the role (e.g., NVQ or equivalent in pharmacy services).
- Previous experience in a pharmacy environment is preferred but not mandatory.
