An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward-thinking Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager to join a leading private hospital in the beautiful city of Bath. This is a key leadership role, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services while driving innovation, governance, and service excellence.


About the Role

As Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager, you will lead and develop the clinical pharmacy team, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medicines management across all clinical areas. Working closely with consultants, nursing teams, and senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes and maintaining the highest professional standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the clinical pharmacy service within the hospital
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, professional, and governance standards
  • Drive service improvement initiatives and clinical audit programmes
  • Oversee medicines optimisation, antimicrobial stewardship, and formulary management
  • Support training, education, and professional development of pharmacy staff
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational performance

  • About You

    • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
    • Significant post-registration clinical experience within hospital pharmacy
    • Strong knowledge of medicines governance, risk management, and clinical audit
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Proven leadership and team management experience (desirable)
