We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and forward-thinking GP practice on a 12-month maternity cover basis starting in mid-July 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in patient care, supporting safe prescribing and medicines optimisation within a collaborative primary care team.
At Voyager Family Health, you will be at the heart of ensuring patients receive accurate, timely, and safe medication changes following hospital and clinic interactions. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring safe and effective medicines management across the practice. You will review and process clinical correspondence, ensuring medication changes are accurately reflected in patient records and appropriately actioned.
You will support prescription processing, handle medication queries from patients and pharmacies, and assist with medicines reconciliation following hospital discharge. The role also involves contributing to medication safety work, including responding to drug alerts and supporting prescribing audits.
Working closely with our clinical pharmacists and administrative teams, you will help maintain high standards of prescribing practice, support patients with medication-related queries, and ensure accurate record-keeping using clinical systems.
