Physiotherapist | Inpatients Only | Norwich | Full Time | Permanent | Competitive Salary
Spire Norwich Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and patient-focused Inpatient Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive physiotherapy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established private hospital that values quality, teamwork, and professional development.
As an Inpatient Physiotherapist, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality post-operative rehabilitation and acute inpatient care. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team including consultants, nurses, and other allied health professionals to support patients through their recovery and help them return to optimal function.
You will primarily support orthopaedic, general surgical, and medical patients on the wards, as well as contribute to weekend and on-call rotas as required
Duties And Responsibilities
- To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the outpatient department
- Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks
- Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Who We’re Looking For
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
- Experience in acute inpatient care, ideally in orthopaedics and/or surgical settings
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and team-working skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
- Flexible and proactive approach, with a commitment to ongoing development
Working Hours: Shifts across a 7 day service.
Contract Type: Permanent
